Coil or mat — and when each is right
PEMF energy reaches the body through one of two delivery types: coils or mats. They do different jobs.
Coils are circular pads you place directly over a specific area — a knee, shoulder, lower back, or pet's hip. They focus the magnetic field into a small zone, which means deeper penetration on the target. If you're treating a specific injury, joint problem, or recovery zone, you want a coil.
Mats are flat, full-body pads you lie on. They spread the field across a large surface, but at lower intensity per square inch than a coil. Mats are good for general wellness, relaxation, and whole-body sessions where you're not focused on one area.
Plenty of serious PEMF users want both. That's why the BodyCharger exists: dual coils plus a 70″ × 28″ full-body mat in one system.
