Yes. The Element Mat is the mat on its own. It has no electronics of its own and produces nothing until it is connected to a Sentient Element or Mini Element amplifier, which generates the actual pulses.
If you don't already own an amplifier, the Element Mat Pro pairs this same mat with a Mini Element amplifier.
The mat connects to the Sentient Element or Mini Element. The amplifier sets everything about the session — frequency, intensity, and program — so the mat runs whatever your amplifier supports.
The mat is 70 × 28 inches and about half an inch thick, sized for an adult to lie on full-length. It lies flat on a bed, couch, or floor and weighs about 19 pounds, so it is easy to move and store between sessions.
Spot-clean the cotton Bull Denim surface with a damp cloth and mild soap, then let it air-dry. Don't soak it, machine-wash it, or put it in a dryer.
PEMF is generally considered safe for most adults, but there are conditions where it should not be used:
- Do not use if you have a pacemaker, implantable cardioverter-defibrillator (ICD), cochlear implant, insulin pump, or any other implanted electronic device.
- Do not use if you are pregnant or believe you may be pregnant.
- Do not apply directly on or near the eyes.
- Consult your physician before use if you have epilepsy or a seizure disorder, an active malignancy, are taking blood thinners or anticoagulants, or have any other serious medical condition.
- Keep the mat away from credit cards, watches, and magnetic-sensitive items during use.
