Specifications

The mat itself, in plain terms. Frequency, intensity, and program settings come from the Element amplifier you pair it with — the mat applies whatever your amplifier sends.

Why owners use a mat

What a full-body mat does well, and what to reasonably expect from it.

Your dog just lies down

There's nothing to hold in place and nothing for your dog to tolerate. A session is a nap. The mat goes where your dog already likes to rest, your dog settles onto it, and the field covers the whole body at once rather than one targeted spot. That suits the calm dogs and the restless ones equally, because you're not asking them to sit still for a coil held against a joint.

Full-body coverage, sized for bigger dogs

The dual-coil layout spreads the field across the surface of the mat, so you don't have to aim it. It's sized for medium and large breeds. Giant breeds will overhang the edges, and small dogs fit comfortably but get less of the full-body benefit because they cover less of the mat. If you're between sizes, that's worth a quick word with us before you order.

Made to be used daily, and wiped clean

This is a mat a dog rests on regularly, so the surface is built for that: it wipes down between sessions, and it's made to hold up to repeated everyday use rather than occasional handling. That daily-use durability is also why mats are final sale once a dog has used them.

It runs on the amplifier you already own

The mat is the applicator. It doesn't have its own settings or programs; it applies whatever your Mini Element or Sentient Element amplifier sends to it. So the controls you already know carry straight over to canine sessions, and you're adding the mat to hardware you've already learned, not starting over with a new system.

A routine, not a quick fix

This is the honest part. PEMF is generally used as a gentle, regular practice for comfort, mobility, and recovery support, the kind of thing that works best as a steady habit rather than a one-time treatment. Some dogs settle onto the mat happily from the first session; any broader change tends to show up with consistent use over a few weeks, not overnight. Going in expecting a daily ritual rather than an instant result is the right frame.

PEMF is an adjunct, not a replacement for veterinary care. For a dog with a diagnosed condition or one recovering from surgery, talk with your vet about whether and how to add it.

The Element K9 is a wellness mat. It is not a veterinary medical device and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any condition. PEMF is contraindicated for animals with an active electronic implant such as a pacemaker or insulin pump, and the field affects people nearby as well, so anyone with an implant should stay clear during a session. Results vary from dog to dog.

Is the mat-only Element K9 right for you?

This page is the mat by itself. Here's who that fits, and when you'd want something else.

Built for
  • People who already own a Mini Element or Sentient Element and want to add canine sessions to it
  • Medium and large dogs — the mat is sized so they fit on it comfortably
  • Households that want a full-body option the dog rests on, rather than holding a coil in place
Consider instead
  • You don't own an amplifier yet — the Element K9 Pro comes with the mat and the amplifier together, ready to use out of the box
  • The mat is for a person, not a dog — see the human PEMF mats instead

Frequently asked questions

The practical questions about buying the mat on its own.

Yes — the Element K9 is the mat on its own, so it needs a Sentient Light amplifier to run. It works with the Mini Element and the Sentient Element. If you already own one of those, this mat connects to it and you're set.

If you don't own an amplifier yet, the Element K9 Pro is the same mat bundled with one, which is the better starting point. Not sure which amplifier you have? Send us the model details and we'll confirm before you order.

The mat carries a 3-year warranty against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use. If something's wrong with the mat itself, contact us and we'll arrange a repair or replacement. Your amplifier is covered separately under its own warranty.

Once a dog has used the mat, we can't resell it to another household, so mats are final sale for hygiene reasons. We'd rather be upfront about that before you buy than surprise you after.

If you're unsure whether the mat is the right fit — size, compatibility, anything — talk to us first and we'll help you get it right.

The mat ships within 3–5 business days, with tracking. If you need it delivered somewhere outside the continental US, contact us for a shipping quote.

PEMF is generally well tolerated, but it is an adjunct to veterinary care, not a replacement for it. For a dog with a diagnosed condition or one recovering from surgery, check with your vet before starting.

It should not be used on an animal with an active electronic implant such as a pacemaker or insulin pump, and the field reaches people nearby too, so anyone with an implant should stay clear during a session.
